ENTRANCE
The main entry is accessible. It is on the same level as the sidewalk, located on street st.
MOBILITY/ACCESS
Wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters are all permitted. Please note, we currently do not have any mobility aids available for rent onsite.
The design studio is located on the first floor. The museum is located on the 2nd floor and has an elevator available to move between floors making it wheelchair accessible. A gallery attendant will be on site to assist.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor (where the exhibit is located).
"DO YOU PROVIDE SNEAKERS FOR THE WORKSHOP?"
No, registration prices do not include sneakers, and we do not sell them on site.
"WHAT TYPE OF SNEAKERS SHOULD WE BRING TO THE WORKSHOP?"
Any white sneaker, made of leather or canvas is preferred! Common shoes include Converse, Nike Air Force One and Vans.
"HOW LONG DO WORKSHOPS LAST?"
2-3 Hours depending on the difficulty of the design you select.
"DO I NEED A GUEST PASS? "
Sneakerhead University visitors age 3+ require a ticket for entry. Guest passes are a ticket option for visitors who do not want to customize their own sneaker, but assist someone else in their party with the creation of theirs. This is also an option for visitors with young children, this permits your entry into the class to serve as additional support in the creation process!
"ARE THE SNEAKERS ON DISPLAY AUTHENTIC?"
Yes! The sneakers on display at Sneakerhead University were authenticated and verified. The shoes were purchased from notable Chicago vendors, private collectors and sneakerheads worldwide.
"IS THE EXHIBIT SPONSORED/ ASSOCIATED WITH THE BRANDS DISPLAYED?"
Although the exhibit is not authorized/ associated with the many brands featured at Sneakerhead University, the kicks were carefully certified through various authentication services.
WHERE ARE MY TICKETS?
If you have purchased tickets to Sneakerhead University directly through our website, but have not yet received your tickets via email, your order might have a typo in the email entry. Please use our “contact us” form above to have this rectified.

REFUNDS
All Sneakerhead University ticket sales are final and non-refundabe. You are encouraged to arrive up to 15 minutes before your ticketed time slot to ensure entry. If you are late for your time slot, your ticket is no longer valid and entry is not guaranteed. The tickets have a 10-minute grace period. Your ticket is only valid on the date of the ticket. Please confirm your ticket date while purchasing.
CAN I RESCHEDULE?
All Sneakerhead University ticket sales are final and non-refundabe. If you have a conflict in schedule please send a reschedule request to info@shuexperience.com. A team member will review your request within 24-48 hrs.
LOCATION
Sneakerhead University is located at 133 S State St, Chicago, IL 60603. Visitors may enter through the main entrance on State Street.
PARKING
The exhibit does not have dedicated onsite parking but there are a number of public parking lots nearby.
"HOW DO I BOOK A PRIVATE PARTY?"
Please submit a request using our contact us form below and our team will assist with next steps.
"WHAT IS THE MINIMUM/ MAXIMUM HEADCOUNT NEEDED FOR A PRIVATE PARTY?"
The minimum headcount required for a private booking is one participant. This would be categorized as a 1:1 session. The maximum is 80 participants at our state street location. For off-site bookings, headcount may vary depending on requested location.
"CAN WE BRING FOOD?"
Yes! Workshops can be long! For parties we encourage guest to bring easy finger foods such as wings, wraps, pizza, etc. Feel free to bring your own, or hire a team. We will work with you for easy set up and discard.
